SG Standardと同じ2ハムバッカー＆ラージ・ピックガードのスタイルを採用し、ヘッドロゴや指板サイドのバインディング、ピックアップカバーなどの装飾を省くことで、サウンドの傾向はそのままに、シンプルなルックスに仕上がっています。
ピックアップはトラッドな出力の「490」ハムバッカーをセットでマウント。艶やかなクリーンでブライトなドライブサウンドが特長です。
薄い塗膜により生鳴りが大きく、キズや色褪せが起こりやすい仕上げのため、年式以上にこなれた風合いが格好良いです。
こちらの個体は指板材にエボニーを使用しており、締まったルックスとサウンドが魅力です。
グリップの塗装やれ・剥げやその他塗装・パーツの傷みなど、年代相応の使用感がございます。
フレットの目立った消耗は見受けられず、現状のネック＆トラスロッドのコンディション良好です。

The "SG" is a classic Gibson electric guitar model, standing alongside the Les Paul in its iconic status. This particular instrument is a "Special Faded" model from 2003, characterized by its open-coil humbuckers and a thin, low-sheen finish.
It features the same dual-humbucker configuration and large pickguard found on the SG Standard, but omits certain decorative elements—such as headstock logos, fretboard side binding, and pickup covers—resulting in a simpler, more understated aesthetic while retaining the signature SG sound.
Equipped with a pair of "490" humbuckers—known for their traditional output—the guitar delivers rich, lustrous clean tones and a bright, driven sound.
The thin finish allows for a more resonant, natural acoustic response； furthermore, because this type of finish is prone to showing wear and fading, the guitar has developed a seasoned, "broken-in" character that gives it a particularly cool, authentic look.
This particular instrument features an ebony fretboard, which contributes to both its sleek, refined look and its tight, focused sound.
There are signs of wear consistent with the instrument’s age, including wear and peeling of the finish on the neck grip, as well as various scuffs, dings, and signs of aging on the body finish and hardware.
The frets show no significant wear, and the neck and truss rod are currently in good condition.
