1998年製の本機は、1960年当時のスタイルを再現した「Les Paul Classic」です。
ウッドマテリアルはプレーン・メイプルトップ＆マホガニー(1ピース)バックのボディ、「スリムテーパー」プロファイルのマホガニーネック、ローズウッド指板という構成。
エッジの尖ったエイジドカラーのディッシュ・インレイやヴィンテージ・クルーソンタイプのペグが文字通りクラシカルな印象を演出しています。
またピックアップがカバー付きのSeymour Duncan SH-1に交換されており、ルックスだけでなくサウンド面もよりクラシカルな方向にアレンジされた個体となっています。
外観はスリキズや打痕、塗装のひびや欠け、ウェザーチェック、パーツのくすみ・サビ等が見受けられます。
パーツ関係はピックアップの他にコンデンサがSPRAGUE製に、ピックガードがGibson純正パーツに、ストラップピン、テイルピースがアルミ素材のものにそれぞれ交換されています。
トラスロッドの動作は問題ございません。
フレットは当店入荷後にすり合わせされており、8割程度の残りがある即戦力コンディションをキープした1本です。

The "Les Paul" is the flagship model of Gibson's solid-body electric guitars.
This particular instrument, manufactured in 1998, is a "Les Paul Classic" that recreates the style of the 1960 original.
The wood configuration consists of a body with a plain maple top and a one-piece mahogany back, a mahogany neck with a "SlimTaper" profile, and a rosewood fingerboard.
Sharp-edged, aged-color dish inlays and vintage Kluson-style tuners create a truly classic aesthetic.
Additionally, the pickups have been swapped for covered Seymour Duncan SH-1s, resulting in an instrument that leans toward a more classic sound as well as a classic look.
Cosmetically, the instrument shows signs of wear such as scuffs, dings, finish cracks and chips, weather checking, and tarnishing or rust on the hardware.
Regarding the components, in addition to the pickups, the capacitor has been replaced with a Sprague unit and the pickguard with a genuine Gibson part; the strap pins and tailpiece have been swapped for aluminum versions.
The truss rod functions without issue.
The frets were leveled after arriving at our shop; with approximately 80% of their height remaining, this instrument is in excellent condition and ready for immediate use.
