'60年代サーフミュージックを牽引したザ・ベンチャーズの使用で有名な「モズライト」ギター。
そして日本では「若大将」こと加山雄三氏の愛用で幅広く知られています。
こちらはフィルモアモズライトにて、2000年に加山雄三氏のデビュー40周年に企画された限定モデルの前後に製作された”プロトタイプ”モデルのようです。
ヘッドストックは加山氏モデルとは異なり通常のスタイル、ベンチャーズロゴも入っています。
立体的な"ジャーマンカーヴ"加工が施されたボディには、'64年前期スタイルのトップバインディングが施され、上品な印象を演出しています。
ピックアップはロゴなしタイプカバー、背面は樹脂でコーティングされたヴィンテージ・スタイルを採用し、パンチのあるサウンドをお楽しみいただけます。
印象的な「パールブルー」にフィニッシュとホワイトのピックアップカバーが爽やかな印象で、ヨットをモチーフにしたイラストが描かれたピックガードが特別感たっぷりです。
インチ規格のハードウェアを使用し、塗装面のひびの程度からラッカーで塗装されていると思われます。
指板のローズウッドの色合いや目の詰まりが素晴らしく、個性的な見た目以上に仕上がりと音色が魅力的な個体です。
スリキズや打痕、塗装・パーツの傷み・色焼けなど、年代相応のダメージがございます。
フレットは8割程度の残り、現状のネックコンディション良好です。

Mosrite guitars are famous for being used by The Ventures, a band that led the way in surf music in the 1960s.
In Japan, they are also widely known as the favorite of Yuzo Kayama, also known as "Wakadaisho."
This Mosrite guitar appears to be a "prototype" model produced by Fillmore Mosrite around the time of the limited edition model planned in 2000 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Yuzo Kayama's debut.
Unlike Kayama's model, the headstock is a standard style and also features the Ventures logo.
The body features a three-dimensional "German carve" finish and early 1964 style top binding, creating an elegant impression.
The pickups feature logoless type covers and vintage-style resin-coated backs, allowing you to enjoy a punchy sound.
The striking "pearl blue" finish and white pickup covers create a refreshing impression, and the pickguard with a yacht-themed illustration adds a special touch.
It uses inch-standard hardware, and judging from the degree of cracking in the paint, it appears to have been painted with lacquer.
The rosewood fingerboard has a beautiful color and dense grain, making this an instrument with a finish and tone that is even more appealing than its unique appearance.
There is damage appropriate for its age, such as scratches, dents, paint and part damage, and discoloration.
About 80% of the frets remain, and the neck is in good condition.
A black-covered hard case with the guitar's logo is included.
