本来はミニハムバッカーがマウントされていたLes Paul Deluxeにハムバッカーをマウントし、Les Paul Standard仕様としてモディファイされています。
メイプル3ピースのボディトップにパンケーキではない1ピースのマホガニーボディ、スリムなグリップのメイプルネックに黒々としたローズウッド指板が印象的で、経年による塗装の傷みがヴィンテージギターとしてのオーラを放っています。
しっかりした重量感と明瞭な発音による音色は'50〜60年代スタイルのレスポールとはまた異なる趣があります。
ピックアップはセイモア・ダンカン製定番マッチング「'59 & JB」を搭載し、甘いネック・ポジションとパワフルなブリッジ・ポジョションで元気の良いサウンドを出力します。
ピックアップ・コンバージョンの他にも多くのパーツ交換やメンテナンスが行われており、長きに渡り愛用されてきたことが窺えます。
弦交換しやすいスパーゼル・チューナーを取り付け、フレットは丁寧に打ち替えられ、ポット＆コンデンサも一新されています。
現状8割程度のフレット残りでネック＆トラスロッドのコンディション良好。整備済みですぐに弾けるヴィンテージ個体です。

This is a rare left-handed Les Paul from 1978 with a three-piece maple top and neck.
Originally a Les Paul Deluxe with mini-humbuckers, this one has been modified to Les Paul Standard specifications with humbuckers installed.
It features a three-piece maple top, a one-piece mahogany body (not pancake), a slim-grip maple neck, and a striking black rosewood fingerboard, and the wear on the finish due to age gives it the aura of a vintage guitar.
The solid weight and clear tone give it a different feel from '50s and '60s-style Les Pauls.
The pickups are Seymour Duncan's classic matching "'59 & JB" pickups, which produce a lively sound with a sweet neck position and powerful bridge position.
In addition to the pickup conversion, many other parts have been replaced and the guitar has been maintained, indicating that it has been loved and used for a long time.
Sperzel tuners have been installed to make string changes easier, the frets have been carefully replaced, and the pots and capacitors have been renewed.
Currently, about 80% of the frets remain, and the neck and truss rod are in good condition. This vintage guitar has been serviced and is ready to play.
