「ヘッドレス」ギターのパイオニア、スタインバーガーによる'00年代に発売されたユニークなモデル「シナプス」シリーズの逸品。
2005年製個体です。
スタインバーガーといえばのコンパクトなボディシェイプを継承しつつ、メイプルスルーネック＆ボディにフェノール樹脂指板をという組み合わせを採用しています。
「Custom」は、ボディトップにフレイムメイプルを貼り、木目を生かした上品な風合いを演出しています。
ノントレモロ仕様のブリッジに、スタインバーガー用の「ダブルボールエンド弦」はもちろん、通常のエレキギター弦を張ルことができるヘッドピースを備えています。
ピックアップはEMGのアクティヴタイプ「85 & 81」のセットアップをマウント。ノイズ/フィードバックに強く、ハイゲインなサウンドにも対応できます。
また、ウッドボディによる温かみのあるサウンドは、クリーントーンでジャズをプレイする方にも実はおすすめです。
ネック側のストラップピンホルダーが長くなっており、立って演奏する時のバランスを考慮した設計で、ストレスなく演奏できます。
スリキズやパーツの傷みなど、若干の使用感がございます。
フレットは8割程度の残り、現状トラスロッド締め方向いっぱいで、標準的な弦高(12フレット上1.5〜2.0mm)にてセットアップいたしております。

This is a masterpiece from the unique "Synapse" series, released in the 2000s by Steinberger, the pioneer of headless guitars.
This particular guitar was manufactured in 2005.
While retaining the compact body shape that's synonymous with Steinberger, it combines a maple body and neck with a phenolic resin fingerboard.
The "Custom" features a flame maple body top, showcasing the wood grain for an elegant look.
The non-tremolo bridge is equipped with a headpiece that can be used with Steinberger double ball-end strings as well as regular electric guitar strings.
The guitar is equipped with an active EMG 85 & 81 pickup setup. They're resistant to noise and feedback and can handle high-gain sounds.
The warm sound produced by the wood body is also recommended for those who play clean jazz.
The strap pin holder on the neck side is longer, designed to provide balance when playing while standing, allowing for stress-free playing.
There are some signs of use, such as scratches and damaged parts.
About 80% of the frets remain, the truss rod is currently fully tightened, and the string height is set to standard (1.5-2.0mm at the 12th fret).
