Kithara Guitarsは、北アイルランドのベルファストにある工房にてクリス氏を中心とするビルダーによって製作されています。
ビルダーのクリスは、サム・アーウィンやアーニー・マクミレンといった才能豊かなマスター・ルシアーのもとで楽器製作、木工技術を学びました。
新世代のギタリスト「Cory Wong」氏の使用で今注目されているブランドです。
こちらは同社の主力モデル「Fifty-Six」。当店にてオーダーいたしました2023年製個体です。
近年特に流行しているオフセットデザインのボディに3つのシングルコイル・ピックアップをマウントし、ブリッジはハードテイル仕様を採用し、まるでJazzmaster , Stratocaster , Telecasterをミックスしたかのような、ユニークなスタイルが魅力的です。
アルダー・ボディにメイプル・ネック/ローズウッド指板のオーソドックスな組み合わせで、ミディアム・サイズで弾きやすいJescar製47095フレットを使用し、スムーズなフィンガリングが可能です。
ピックアップは英国のハンドメイド・ピックアップ・ブランドMojo製Stratocasterモデルを搭載。繊細かつ煌びやかなサウンドが特徴的です。
ブリッジはGotoh製Half Ashtrayを採用し、ブライトかつ安定度の高いオクターブ・チューニングを実現します。
ネック材のメイプルにはうっすらとフレイム杢が出ており、シェルピンクのポップなボディカラーに対し、上品な高級感を放っています。
細かなスリキズやパーツのくすみがございますが、全体的に使用感の少ない良好なコンディションを維持しています。

Kithara Guitars are made by builders led by Chris in a workshop in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Builder Chris learned instrument making and woodworking techniques under talented master luthiers such as Sam Irwin and Ernie McMillen.
The brand is currently attracting attention as it is used by new generation guitarist Cory Wong.
This is the company's flagship model, the Fifty-Six. This 2023 model was ordered through our shop.
With three single-coil pickups mounted on an offset body design that's particularly popular in recent years and a hardtail bridge, this guitar's unique style is like a mix of a Jazzmaster, Stratocaster, and Telecaster.
The classic alder body and maple neck/rosewood fingerboard combination feature medium-sized, easy-to-play Jescar 47095 frets, allowing for smooth fingering.
The pickups are Stratocaster model pickups made by Mojo, a British handmade pickup brand, producing a distinctively delicate and brilliant sound.
The Gotoh Half Ashtray bridge provides bright and stable octave tuning.
The maple neck has a subtle flame grain that contrasts with the pop shell pink body color to create an elegant, luxurious feel.
There are some minor scratches and dullness on some parts, but overall the instrument is in good condition with little signs of use.
