Fender Custom Shop製品のRelic加工の業務委託を担当した経歴のあるビルダー「Vince Cunetto」氏による逸品。
2009年製作個体です。
現在ではポピュラーとなったヴィンテージギターのような使い込まれた風合いを再現する”レリック加工”の名人として知られ、氏が加工を施した'99年ころまでのFender Custom Shop Relic製品は、"Cunetto Era"や"Cunetto Relic"などと呼ばれ高く評価されています。
こちらはヴィンテージスタイルを踏襲した"Artifact"シリーズのひとつ、Doublecutはフェンダー エレキギターの中でも最もポピュラーなデザインで、こちらは'57年スタイルである「アルダーボディ」「メイプル1ピースネック」をフィーチャーしています。
贅沢なクォーターソン(柾目取り)メイプルを使用したネックは厚みのあるソフトVシェイプで、親指を出して握り込んだ時のフィット感が素晴らしく、演奏時にネックへの振動をしっかりと体感することができます。
ボディは薄い塗膜で仕上げられ、リアルなウェザーチェックが際立つブラックのフィニッシュがシンプルで説得力があります。
Lollar製”ブラックフェイス”ピックアップをマウント。繊細な出力でワイドレンジなシングルコイルサウンドをお楽しみいただけます。
元々のレリック加工に加え、経年によるパーツの色焼けやヘッドロゴの一部欠け、スリキズや打痕などの使用感が見受けられます。
フレットはすり合わせを行い凹みなく快適な演奏性に調整済、7割程度の残りです。
G&G製ハードケースとサティフィケート(認定証)が付属いたします。

This is a masterpiece by builder Vincent Cunetto, who has a history of being in charge of the Relic processing of Fender Custom Shop products.
This particular guitar was built in 2009.
He is known as a master of the now-popular "relic processing" technique, which recreates the worn-in look of vintage guitars, and the Fender Custom Shop Relic products he processed up until around 1999 are highly acclaimed and are known as the "Cunetto Era" or "Cunetto Relic."
This is part of the "Artifact" series, which follows a vintage style. The Doublecut is one of Fender's most popular electric guitar designs, and this one features the 1957 style "alder body" and "one-piece maple neck."
The neck is crafted from luxurious quarter-sawn maple and features a thick, soft V-shape that provides a comfortable grip with your thumb extended, allowing you to fully experience the vibrations in the neck as you play.
The body is finished with a thin coat of paint, and the black finish, which highlights realistic weather-checking, is simple and compelling.
Equipped with Lollar "Blackface" pickups, it delivers a wide-range single-coil sound with sensitive output.
In addition to the original relic finish, there are signs of wear such as fading of parts due to aging, a chipped headstock logo, and scratches and dents.
