1970年代末にデビューし、国内外の著名なギタリスト達を虜にしてきた名機「YAMAHA SG」。
本機は1979年製、セットネック構造を採用した「SG-700」です。
木材はメイプルトップ・マホガニーバックボディ、マホガニーネック、ローズウッド指板というLPモデルにも通じる構成。
ピックアップはオリジナルのセミ・オープンタイプのハムバッカーを2基搭載。
トーンポットをプッシュすることで、「バイサウンド」システムによりシングルコイルサウンドも出力可能となっています。
スリムで握りやすいネックと独自デザインのダブルカッタウェイにより、ハイポジションへのアクセスもスムーズです。
外観はスリキズや打痕、塗装の割れ・欠け・色焼け、パーツのくすみやサビ等が見受けられ、年代相応の状態です。
6弦側のカッタウェイ部にストラップピンを取り付けた跡があります。
また当時のYAMAHA製品特有の塗装の白濁が全体に確認できます。
その他、ボリュームノブのプレートが欠損しております。
フレットは当店入荷後にすり合わせされており、7割ほどの残りです。
ネック＆トラスロッドの状態も良好な即戦力コンディションの1本です。

The legendary Yamaha SG debuted in the late 1970s and has captivated renowned guitarists both in Japan and abroad.
This model is the SG-700, manufactured in 1979 and featuring a set-neck construction.
The wood construction is similar to that of the LP model, with a maple top, mahogany back body, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard.
The pickups are two original semi-open humbuckers.
By pushing the tone pot, the "Bi-Sound" system allows for single-coil sound output.
The slim, easy-to-grip neck and unique double cutaway design make it easy to access the high positions.
The exterior shows scratches, dents, cracks, chips, and discoloration in the paint, as well as dullness and rust on parts, and is in good condition for its age.
There are traces of a strap pin attached to the cutaway on the 6th string side.
The cloudy paint, typical of Yamaha products from that time, can also be seen throughout the guitar.
In addition, the volume knob plate is missing.
The frets were Leveled after arriving at our store, and about 70% remain.
The neck and truss rod are in good condition, making this guitar ready for immediate use.
