伝統的なスタイル・デザインを踏襲しつつも時代の変化に合わせた新しい試みが光る2014モデルは、軽量化と豊かな鳴りを生む「モダーン・ウェイト・リリーフ」構造のボディと、より人体の構造に合わせた「アシンメトリカル'60sスリムテーパー・プロファイル」のネック、スムーズな演奏性と安定したピッチを実現する「コンパウンド・ラジアス」指板を採用しています。
ネックは「ディープジョイント」工法にてセットされ、レギュラーモデルとしては相当に手が込んでいることが窺えます。
エレクトロニクスにも工夫がなされ、VOL & TONEポットを引っ張ることで「コイルタップ」「フェイズアウト(ミックス時)」「ピュアバイパス(ブリッジピックアップ)」機能を搭載。昔ながらのレスポールのデザインを崩すことなく機能を追加しています。
弦交換が容易な「ロッキング・チューナー」、固定可能なブリッジ＆テールピースを備え、日々のメンテナンスも快適です。
ヘッドトップの塗装欠けやスリキズ・打痕、パーツのくすみなど、年代相応の使用感がございます。
フレットは8割程度の残りで、現状のネック＆トラスロッドのコンディション良好です。

The Les Paul Standard is Gibson's flagship solid-state electric guitar.
This "Plus" model, manufactured in 2014 to commemorate the company's 120th anniversary, features a luxurious AAAA-grade top with a beautiful grain.
The 2014 model, which maintains traditional style and design while incorporating new ideas to adapt to the changing times, features a body with a "Modern Weight Relief" structure that is lightweight and produces a rich sound, a neck with an "Asymmetrical '60s Slim Taper Profile" that is more suited to the human body, and a "Compound Radius" fingerboard that ensures smooth playability and stable pitch.
The neck is set using the "deep joint" method, revealing considerable craftsmanship for a standard model.
The electronics have also been ingeniously designed, with the VOL & TONE pots providing coil tap, phase out (when in mix mode), and pure bypass (for the bridge pickup) functions. These features have been added without compromising the classic Les Paul design.
Equipped with locking tuners for easy string changes and a lockable bridge and tailpiece, daily maintenance is also convenient.
There are signs of wear appropriate for the guitar's age, such as chipped paint on the headstock, scratches and dents, and dullness on parts.
About 80% of the frets remain, and the neck and truss rod are currently in good condition.
