The American Standard is a legendary series that has served as the foundation for many models in the Fender USA lineup for many years, and its legacy continues today in the successor American Professional series.
This model is the American Standard Stratocaster UG, an upgraded model manufactured in 2012 and equipped with Custom Shop pickups.
The wood construction is classic, with an alder body and a one-piece maple neck.
The neck grip has a modern C-shape, and combined with the 9.5-inch-radius fingerboard, it provides excellent playability.
The guitar is equipped with three Fender Custom Shop "Fat '50s Single-Coil Strat" pickups.
The exterior shows scratches, dents, cracks and chips in the paint, and some dullness and rust on parts.
The truss rod is slightly tight, but is currently adjusted to its proper condition.
The frets were filed after arriving at our store, and the guitar is in ready-to-play condition with about 70% remaining fret power.
