The 2016 model "Studio" inherits the sound and playability of the flagship Gibson solid electric model "Les Paul Standard" and is a simple style model, while the "Faded" features a thin coating with a subdued gloss.
The full-size maple top and mahogany back body is set with a mahogany neck, giving it the powerful sound that is characteristic of a Les Paul.
The neck grip uses a "rounded 50's" profile. It is easy to grip with just the right thickness and moderate roundness.
It is equipped with the "Burstbucker Pro" pickups that are also installed on the Les Paul Standard of the same era. The vintage style is based on a slightly hotter finish, which matches well with modern drive sounds.
There are signs of use such as scratches, dents, and damage to the paint and parts.
There is no noticeable wear on the frets, and the current condition of the neck and truss rod is good.
