「kgr harmony (ケージーアール ハーモニー)」は、アーティストの感性を刺激する楽器、個性的なプロダクツを製造・販売するエフェクターブランドです。

ラインナップの中でも一際異彩を放つのが、こちらの「南部鉄器」エフェクターシリーズ。岩手県の伝統工芸品を筐体に用い、歴史ある工房にて鋳造されています。多くのエフェクターに使用されるアルミの筐体と比較し、外観はもちろんのこと、しっかりと音楽的な要素も加味しております。ピッキングに対する反応や音圧感で、日本の伝統が持つエネルギーを体感出来るでしょう。



こちらの「IRON 808 V2」は、日本人エンジニアが作ったチューブスクリーマー系の仕組みを利用しながら、唯一無二の音色へ昇華したオーバードライブ。高級オーディオ品質の部品を採用しつつ、高い解像度と音楽的な柔らかさを両立。



回路は、イン・アウトのバッファーを排除し、楽器本来の自然なレンジ幅を最大限に引き出す「Son of Screamer (SOS)」仕様。入力から出力まで、楽器の信号がダイレクトに歪み回路へ入力されることで、ピッキングニュアンスを余すところなく表現します。



メインとなるオペアンプには、日清紡マイクロデバイス (旧: 新日本無線株式会社 (JRC)) が誇る高音質オペアンプ「MUSES 02」を採用。高い解像度と柔らかい音色に加え、南部鉄器の持つレンジの広さとストレートな押し出し感が融合し、唯一無二のサウンドを生み出します。



TS系らしい中音域の強調に加え、南部鉄器筐体ならではの低音域と高音域の聴こえの良さを兼ね備えた一台。

The IRON 808 V2 is a uniquely crafted overdrive pedal from Japan’s KGR Harmony, known for combining musical innovation with traditional materials. This model features an enclosure made of Nambu Tekki, a historic cast iron craft from Iwate Prefecture, delivering not just a striking look, but enhanced sonic character—responsive picking, rich harmonics, and dynamic tone.



Based on a Tube Screamer-style circuit and built in the “Son of Screamer” configuration (no input/output buffers), it captures your instrument’s full natural range. The signal goes straight into the gain stage, ensuring pure and articulate drive tones.



At its core is the MUSES 02 op-amp by Nisshinbo Micro Devices, offering audiophile-grade resolution and smooth musicality. Combined with premium components and updated circuit tuning, the V2 achieves wider range, improved S/N ratio, and a more refined feel. A redesigned knob layout adds both style and usability.



While it retains the midrange warmth of classic TS pedals, the IRON 808 V2 extends both low and high frequencies thanks to the iron housing, making it suitable for blues, rock, and beyond.
